In a bizarre collaboration that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the darkness." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an exclusive katana alongside several artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
